What is Path?
A path gives reps a visual representation of the stages required for working through a sales process. The paths you create for your sales teams can include:
  • Key fields that reps complete before moving to the next stage in the sales process
  • Best practices
  • Words of encouragement to keep your reps pumped
  • Links to relevant Chatter posts
  • Policy reminders
  • Even potential gotchas
Note: 
The path is available for the following objects in Lightning Experience:
  • Accounts
  • Campaigns
  • Contracts
  • Leads
  • Opportunities
  • Orders
  • Quotes
  • Service appointments
  • Work orders
  • Work order line items
  • Custom Objects
Demo:

From Setup, enter Path in the Quick Find box, then select Path Settings.
Click Enable, and then click New Path to create a path.


Once You Enable The Path, Click On New Post 

Step 1: 
  • Enter Your Path Name.
  • Select Your Object From DropDown List.
  • and Choose Record Type from List (Displays Based on Object).
  • and Select Picklist (Picklist Fileds are displayed Based On Your Object Fileds).


Step 2: For Each Step in the Process

  • Select fields that you want to appear for your users.
  • Provide guidance for success, like tips, links to Chatter groups or files, best practices, and policy reminders.

Click On Next and Activate Your Path.

Add Your Path In Record Details Page(Match With the Path Record Type that You Created).



on your Record Details Page Displays Like This.
